Kayaks

We rent inflatable FitNord “packraft” kayaks in Kuhmo. They fit easily in a car trunk! We have 2 double kayaks that can also be paddled solo by placing the seat in the middle. They carry up to 300 kg, perfect for longer adventures!

Bicycles

We offer two gravel bikes for rent, suitable for both road and trail riding. You can attach bike bags for longer trips. On request, we can include a patch kit, tools, spare tubes, and a backup chain—so you won’t be stranded!

LaPierre Crosshill 3.0 – drop handlebar, front & rear racks, fits riders 170–182 cm

Koe Kainuu Adventures is small company, owned by adventure-loving couple. We have tested this gear ourselves too and we have experienced incredible adventures with them! We encourage you too to be brave and try something new! In this picture we are on a bicycle adventure around Europe.

Koe Kainuu Adventures Oy donates 1% of annual profits to the Finnish Natural Heritage Foundation to protect a nature site chosen by the public. Voting takes place around New Year on our Facebook page.

📝 Rental Terms

• Booking & Payment You can book via WhatsApp or email. Payment is made in advance when the booking is confirmed.

• Pickup & Return Equipment is picked up and returned as agreed. Gear is stored in Lammasperä, Kuhmo, but we can deliver to the town center. (We recommend booking a few days in advance to ensure delivery.)

• Late returns may incur extra charges. Please return gear clean and dry.

• Usage Area & Insurance Equipment is insured in Finland. You may use it outside of Finland, too, but you must have your own travel insurance that covers rented gear. We can advise on suitable coverage depending on what you rent.

• Liability In Finland, the deductible for damaged or unusable gear is €200. Abroad, full replacement cost applies—so don’t forget travel insurance!

• Care & Responsibility Renters are responsible for proper use and care. Intentional damage, loss, or negligence may lead to compensation claims.

• Cancellation Policy Free cancellation up to 3 days before pickup. Later cancellations incur a 50% fee.

• Weather & Special Circumstances Weather conditions do not automatically qualify for cancellation. In special cases (e.g. illness), contact us as soon as possible—we aim to be flexible.
